Overview

With a strong Sport background John is a very experienced Financial Services Adviser working for private and corporate clients across the South Coast and London from his Southampton base. His career began in 1993 in the ‘Home Service’ team for The Prudential – the original ‘Man from the Pru’. In 1998 he founded a new financial services company that eventually became The Partnership (Southampton) Limited, working under the trading style of Market Wide, before moving as a Founding Strategic Partner of Quilter to Warwick Road Financial Services (WRFS) in October 2024. John recognised that by moving under the WRFS umbrella he would be able to offer a more comprehensive and efficient service to new and existing clients.

John has:

  • Experience in all core advice areas, as well as specialism in Long Term Care & Complex Wealth advice areas
  • Achieved and maintains Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP), Certificate in Lifetime Mortgage (CeLTM), Certificate in Long Term Care Insurance (CeLTCI) and Diploma for Financial Advisers (DipFA)
  • Holds a current Statement of Professional Standing with London Institute of Banking and Finance
  • A solid network of clients he regularly interacts with by providing high quality advice and service. Clients are basically local individuals and business owners in the mid stages of their working life and or coming up to retirement wanting to maximise their standard of living
  • A Network of specially selected experts to support all your advice needs especially in the more complex areas of Financial Planning to ensure tax breaks and allowances aren’t missed
  • Outside of work I am a keen fisherman with my own boat (weather permitting)
